Everyone has their own perspective, seeing things a little differently than everybody else. Combine that with the internet and you have something amazing: a collective cloud of ideas.
But the real estate cloud isn’t all cotton balls with dark hues of pink in the sky. This one’s a torrent. Knowledge is moving, morphing, consumed, and spit out as it rages across the world.
We may have a unique perspective, giving us something to contribute, but that doesn’t mean its right. There’s a place for the tried and true. Where reinventing the wheel is a fool’s errand. And you need to know it.
Yet, there is a time when you should ignore it.
Occasionally, the tried and true simply doesn’t apply anymore. It works for a long time, and the storm can continue to carry it, but things change. We have to recognise it and change with it.
